If you encounter issues with the Play-Fi app check if your network setup includes a mesh network or an ethernet switch. If yes, try to bypass the mesh/switch if possible and connect the unit directly to a router.
Attempt to resolve the issue by performing a network reset directly on the unit using the following steps:
- Turn on the unit
- Navigate to the network/remote control settings
- Proceed to the wireless setup and reset the wireless settings
- After resetting the settings, unplug the power cable from the back of the unit and press the main power button 10-15 times
- Reconnect the unit to power and turn it on
- Ensure that the network connection is made/configured and check that the unit is receiving a valid IP address
