My unit is not producing any sound. What should I check before contacting my dealer for support? Print

Please use the following steps to confirm if the unit is configured and passing audio as intended:

Check for update
Ensure cables are securely connected between the MDX and your source devices
Ensure that Speaker wires are securely fastened to the MDX and the Speakers
Be sure that the MDX Web UI is properly configured.

The simple way to test would be to set the On Mode Switch to Auto Mode, connect a local source to input 1, adjust the volume to a reasonable level on the source device, and play source content, this should automatically turn on Zone 1 and begin to play through the connected speakers.
