The STR features the ability to disable Analog conversion for Analog purists that wish to bypass the digitizing of the Analog signal. This would effectively remove any Digital adjustments such as ARC Genesis, bass management, etc. If the Analog signal is converted to Digital, it would be converted to 32 bit/192 kHz for internal processing.
