The current MRX x40, AVM 70 and AVM 90 8K models have HDMI 2.1 support for 8K video (limited source content available), 4K 120Hz, and VRR. The AVM 90 was launched with HDMI 2.1 support.
The MRX x40 and AVM 70 4K models launched in Spring 2021 with HDMI 2.0b. If you own a 4K unit and are interested in upgrading the HDMI board to support the 2.1 spec, we offer an upgrade program via your local authorized dealer and our direct support and service channel. Please inquire further with your authorized Anthem dealer regarding this option, or with support@anthemav.com if you wish to send your unit to our facility for the upgrade.
